Event Specific Terms & Conditions

The following entrance and ticket purchase terms and conditions apply to Steyne Gardens, Worthing, as part of Worthing Pride 2026.

  1. Worthing LGBTQi+ Support Network CIC 17065123 (“we”) are the organisers of Worthing Pride 2026 (the “event” or “Festival”).
  2. The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) are in place to ensure the safety and security of everyone at the Worthing Pride.
  3. By purchasing a ticket or accepting a guest ticket for the event from any outlet and entering the event as a ticket holder or guest you are accepting and agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 
  4. We reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any updates will be reflected on the event website.


Age Policy 

  1. Age restrictions apply at this event and it is the ticket holder’s responsibility to check the applicable age limit to the event before purchasing tickets (and any breach of these restrictions may result in the ticket holder being refused entry or removed from the site). 
  2. Specifically, under 18 ticket holders must be accompanied upon entering the Festival with someone over the age of 18, who must be able top provide ID to confirm this.
  3. Children must accompanied by a full paying adult – we recommend a ratio of 1 adult to 3 under 16s.
  4. Carer tickets are not allocated to parent/guardians of children aged 16 and under, as all children attending Pride must be accompanied by a responsible adult/carer. See Age Restrictions for further information. 
  5. Proof of age in the form of recognised photographic ID may be required on entry and in order to purchase alcohol. A challenge 25 policy will be in operation at the bars. 
  6. All under 16s are required to wear a white wristband with emergency contact number written down before entering the site.


Ticket Purchase 

  1. Only tickets bought from authorised agents will be valid for entry. Tickets are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable. Re-sale or attempted re-sale is prohibited unless via authorised agents. Where there has been a breach of this condition (or breach of any other Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel the applicable tickets and refuse entry to the event without refund or compensation.
  2. Tickets, wristbands or other forms of accreditation to the event remain the property of the event for security purposes, and may be recalled at any time. 
  3. Lead Ticket holder names must be provided at point of purchase along with email address and contact phone number.
  4. Tickets may not be used as part of a promotion, competition, advertising, or be given away as part of a product or service package or for commercial gain without the written consent of the directors.
  5. We are not liable for any tickets that have been lost or stolen. 
  6. Where multiple tickets have been bought in one transaction, all members of the party do not need to arrive at the same time, but each attendee must have their own ticket for entry unless the specific ticket confirmation states they must.


Entrance Policy 

  1. Our entrance policy varies across the weekend due the differing length of each show.
    Sunday:
  2.  Sunday 5th July, last entry is entry is 8pm.  We operate a NO re-admittance policy, some please make sure you bring everything you need.
  3. Saturday:
  4. We understand Saturday 4th July is a long day (11 hours of show time), therefore we allow re-admittance to the event throughout the day subject to event capacity until 7pm. Your tickets only guarantees entry once, we do not reserve your space should you leave. 
  5. Upon arrival on Saturday, ticket holders will have their QR code scanned and issued a hand stamp. You will require this hand stamp for re-entry. 
  6. last entry for advance ticket holders is 8pm on Saturday after this time class your ticket as no show and your ticket will be resold.
  7. After 7pm to enter the event after you have left – if you have a hand stamp you will be charged a surcharge of £10pp. No hand stamp after 7pm = Full Gate Price Entry.
  8. After 7pm tickets holders that have purchased a ticket in advance and not arrived yet we class your ticket as no-show and reserve the right to resell your ticket.
  9. Tickets are available on 4th & 5th July on the gates subject to capacity until 10pm. 
  10. Ticket prices on the gate (if not sold out) will be sold at higher price. To cover card processing fees & handling fees.
  11. The organisers reserve the right of refusal of admission for any reason, whereupon the ticket may be refunded if necessary. 
  12. All ticket holders and guests must consent to a security search of persons, clothing, bags and any other items deemed necessary, as a condition of entry. Prohibited items (including those outlined in these terms & conditions as well as on the event websites) will be confiscated and disposed of. No facilities exist to store prohibited items at the event entrance. 
  13. The organisers retain the right to conduct further searches during the event should they have a reasonable suspicion that any of these conditions have been breached. 
  14. Ticket holders and guests will not conduct activities related to marketing or advertising (including ambush marketing) or trading or other commercial activity without prior consent. In the case of infringement, the action may be invoiced on the basis of a comparable sponsorship contract.
  15. If you are refused entry to the event, or have been previously ejected, you may not attempt to purchase another ticket or to otherwise gain entry.
  16. Various items are prohibited at the Worthing Pride to keep the event safe and to allow us to comply with the licensing objectives. A full list of prohibited items is available from access@worthingpride.com. The following items are prohibited at the event, and we reserve the right to prohibit any other item if in the reasonable opinion of the organisers it could constitute a risk to safety or security:
  • Food and Drink – You may not bring any food or drink (including alcohol) to the event with the exception of sealed bottles of water up to 500ml in size. Water points are available on site, and re-useable water bottles are permitted. Small packed lunches for toddlers are permitted, however No picnics, hampers. There are numerous food traders on site offering a variety of food and drinks – no alcoholic too. If you have a specific requirement please contact access@worthingpride.com.
  • Liquids – You may not bring any liquids into the event other than sealed bottles of water up to 500ml in size or a tube of suncream up to 500ml.
  • Drugs / Controlled Substances – A drugs search is in operation at the event entrances, and if any drugs are found, you will be ejected from or refused entry to the event and passed to the police.
  • New psychoactive substances “legal highs’ – Strictly forbidden at the event and following the introduction of the Psychoactive Substances Act on 26 May 2016, and could result in penalties for possession or supply.
  • Animals – Dogs must remain on leads at ALL TIMES. The promoter reserves the right to eject dog owners from the event if they are causing distress to other guests.
  • Large bags – Any bags larger than A4 size are prohibited and there are no cloakroom facilities at the event. 
  • Glitter – The event organisers are committed to minimising the impact of the event on the park environment, so containers of glitter will be confiscated on arrival. There are dedicated face painters and glitter stands on the park to decorate you.
  • Dangerous items – The following are considered dangerous and are not permitted at the event:
  • Drones
  • Glass in any form (including perfume bottles)
  • Cans or metal containers
  • Spray cans, Gas cannisters or compressed gas in any container
  • Fireworks, flares, smoke cannisters, Chinese lanterns
  • Camping stoves or cooking apparatus, explosives
  • Hand held communication devices such as radios, radio jammers / scanners
  • Firearms, knives or blades, replica weapons of any sort
  • Large golf umbrellas
  • Balloons
  • Large camping tables and tents. 
  • You must have purchased a ‘free chair; ticket to be permitted to bring a camping chair. These tickets were limited to prevent overcrowding. If you do not have a ‘chair ticket’ you will not be permitted to entry with your chair. We recommend bringing a picnic blanket if you missed out chair tickets. 
  • No large pull along festival trolleys or carts.
  • Gazebos or parasols
  • Sports equipment
  • Political Flags/Banners On Poles
  • Balaclavas, Face Coverings or Masks
  • Megaphones, amplification equipment
  • Klaxons, airhorns or other similar items capable of making loud noise
  • Laser pens
  • Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, trolleys.
  • Hi-visibility tabards or similar
  • We are not liable for any prohibited items or items we deem inappropriate or unsafe that are confiscated.

 


Dog Entry Policy For Private Ticketed Events

This event welcomes dogs under strict conditions to ensure the comfort and safety of all attendees. The organiser retains full discretion over admission decisions.

Organisers are required under the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 to assess and control risks — including those posed by animals.

  1. The promoter reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to concerns over safety, hygiene, dog appearance, temperament, or public comfort.

  2. Refusal or ejection of dog owners or dogs may occur without refund in the case of non-compliance.

  3. Where refusal is based solely on dog appearance or distress concerns, and the ticket holder cannot attend without their dog, a ticket for next years event will be offered in the first instance.

General Dog Restrictions

  1. One dog permitted per ticket holder.
  2. No prior registration is required, but dogs are assessed at the gate by trained handlers.
  3. All dogs must:
    • Be on a fixed, non-extendable lead at all times.
    • Wear a secure collar and tag clearly displaying the owner’s name and contact number.
    • Be handled by an adult (18+ only) — no children may walk dogs.
    • Be under control and supervised at all times.
  4. Unattended dogs are not permitted — this includes leaving dogs tied up or left in cars.
  5. Dogs must not enter:
    • Within 25 metres of the front of the stage
    • Any food vendor or bar areas
    • Clearly marked dog-free zones
  6. Dog waste must be cleaned up immediately. Owners must carry waste bags and use designated bins.
  7. Free water is available — all other needs are the owner’s responsibility.
  8. Dogs that appear unwell, overheated, distressed, aggressive, or overly vocal may be refused entry or removed.

 

Breed and Appearance Guidelines

  1. The following breeds are banned by UK law and are not allowed:
    • Pit Bull Terrier
    • Japanese Tosa
    • Dogo Argentino
    • Fila Brasileiro
    • XL Bully
  2. Additionally, the promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog whose size, appearance, or breed may cause fear or discomfort, particularly to children. These include (but are not limited to):
    • Staffordshire Bull Terrier
    • Rottweiler
    • German Shepherd / Alsatian
    • Doberman
    • Cane Corso
    • Great Dane

 

Strongly Recommended for Entry For You Dog

To help ensure a smoother entry process and avoid refusal:

  1. Dogs should be muzzled, especially if their breed or appearance could cause concern, even if they have no history of aggression.

  2. Collars should clearly identify the dog and its temperament (e.g. nervous, friendly, needs space).
  3. Fixed, non-extendable leads must be used at all times — no exceptions.
  4. Visible control and calm temperament are expected when arriving at gates.

Enforcement and Liability

  1. Trained security and dog-handling staff will assess dogs on arrival and monitor behaviour throughout the event.
  2. Non-compliance will result in ejection from the event, with no refund.

  3. Organisers accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage caused by dogs or their handlers.

  4. Owners are personally responsible for their dog at all times.


Safety & Security

  1. Any behaviour which puts your safety, or that of other attendees or event staff at risk will lead to ejection from the event. 
  2. Specifically, we will not permit moshing, crowd surfing or climbing on event structures or existing park landscape. 
  3. We will also not tolerate anti-social or abusive behaviour to any one at the event. 
  4. There is no refund in the case of an ejection from the event.
  5. We will not have liability to you beyond the face value of the ticket and are not responsible for any indirect losses or damages including, but not limited to, loss of enjoyment, goodwill and/or travel or accommodation expenses.
  6. Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk and we do not bear any liability for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property, other than where the cause is directly due to our negligence. 
  7. In the case of an emergency, the ticket holder is to follow instructions and directions from festival officials and/or other staff.
  8. Ticket holders with access requirements should visit the Festival website and navigate to the Access page


LGBTQ+ INCLUSIVE EVENT 

  1. We strive to be an inclusive and safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community. We will not tolerate offensive language or discrimination of any kind. Any acts or language deemed to be (but limited to) homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ageism, ableism, racism and/or intersectional forms of discrimination, will result in ejection from the event.


FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

  1. By buying a ticket for the event, the ticket holder consents to photography / filming / recording by the Festival promoter and organisers, our partners, or those authorised to do so by us, and for any such recording (including in sound recording, which may include them as a member of the audience) and the distribution of any such materials to be used in any media, on an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide basis, without payment. 
  2. There will be CCTV present at the event. 
  3. There is no unauthorised filming, photography or recording permitted at the event. Please do not bring professional equipment to the event as it will be refused entry.


trading & commerical activity

  1. Only those specifically authorised by the Festival to undertake trading or commercial activity at the event may do so. 
  2. It is prohibited to undertake marketing activity (such as flyering, postering or any other form of advertising in any media, including ambush marketing) at the event, or anywhere in Steyne Gardens.


general information

  1. Artists are listed not in order of appearance.
  2. The billed music and attractions line-up and times, as well as the site layout or programme of the event, may be subject to change at any time without notice. Changes to line ups will NOT constitute a refund.
  3. Strobe lighting, lasers and smoke/ haze effects and other special effects may be used in some performances. 
  4. Please consider that exposure to loud music can damage hearing. 
  5. Smoking is not permitted in enclosed spaces at the event. 
  6. The Festival is an outdoor event. Please bring suitable clothing and footwear. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. If they event is cancelled due to bad weather or on the grounds of Health and Safety. Tickets will be rolled over the the new date. No refunds will be permitted.
  7. The Festival will not accept responsibility for any damage or loss of personal items at the event. Please report any losses at the Welfare tent on site.
  8. Travelling to the site and parking (if applicable) is at the ticket holder’s risk. In order to protect the environment, the use of public transport is advised.


ticket purchase policy & Security

    1. As a multi-act event, refunds will not be offered if there are programming changes or artist cancellations.
    2. If we cancel the event, the relevant ticketing platform through which you bought your tickets will try to inform you and in the event of cancellation your ticket will be valid for the new date. No cash refund is valid unless the event is fully cancelled.
    3. Please refer to the T&Cs contained on the official website of the ticket platform through which you purchased your tickets for the event. In the event of disparity between the T&Cs of the applicable ticketing platform and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions will apply.
    4. All ticket sales are FINAL. We operate a strict no refund policy.

BY PURCHASING A TICKET, THE TICKET HOLDER (YOU) AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE SPECIFIED HEREIN AND ANY OTHER PROVISION AS MAY BE SPECIFIED FROM TIME TO TIME BY US, THE EVENT ORGANISER OR THE OWNER OF THE TICKETING PLATFORM (EVENTCUBE).

EVENT TICKETS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE EXCEPT IN THE INSTANCE OF EVENT CANCELLATION. IF AN EVENT IS CANCELLED, YOU WILL BE ENTITLED TO A REFUND OF THE TICKET PRICE LESS THE BOOKING FEES AND ANY OTHER CHARGES WHICH WE CANNOT RECOVER.

We sell paper or e-tickets (Tickets) for events advertised on websites owned and operated by us from time to time (Events) using Eventcube's 'Ticket Mechanic'. Eventcube is a trading name of Eventcube Solutions Ltd, a company incorporated in England under company number 08939283.

The party who organises and provides the Event is the Event Organiser

1. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE EVENT ORGANISER (Worthing Pride)

  1. The Ticket is issued subject to the Event Organiser's terms and conditions found on its website, at the box office, or in the Terms & Conditions of entry to any on-line Event (Event Organiser T&Cs)
  2. If you breach any of the Event Organiser T&Cs or behave in an unacceptable manner (see Section 4 below), the Event Organiser is entitled to refuse you entry to the Event.
  3. The Event Organiser may alter or vary the Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange Tickets.

2. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH EVENTCUBE

  1. EVENTCUBE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY REFUNDS TO TICKET HOLDERS
  2. Your use of the Eventcube website to purchase Tickets, and the transmission of your personal data to Eventcube to enable the purchase of Tickets is subject to the terms of Eventcube's privacy policy: https://www.eventcube.io/legal/privacy-policy
  3. You acknowledge that Eventcube may store and transmit your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

3. YOUR TICKETS

  1. Once your Tickets are issued (in paper or electronic form), it is your responsibility to keep them safe. We will not be responsible for Tickets which have been lost, stolen or destroyed.
  2. E-Tickets do not incur any additional charges than our processing fees, Physical Paper tickets will incur an extra printing and postage cost.
  3. The general limit for ticket purchases for an individual ticket release for an Event is 6, and this may be lowered in certain circumstances. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices.
  4. Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person, per credit card and, for some events, a restriction may apply per household. We reserve the right to cancel Tickets purchased in excess of this number without prior notice.
  5. Multiple tickets orders cannot be split. The primary Ticket holder must be present to enter the Event with E-tickets.
  6. If you are splitting barcoded E-Tickets you may print out each barcode separately and provide the other parties with relevant identification details, however entry will be entirely at the discretion of the Event Organiser.
  7. We try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, however errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of Tickets you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your Ticket purchase at the correct price (and credit or debit your account as applicable) or cancelling your Ticket purchase. If we are unable to contact you, you we may treat the Ticket purchase as cancelled.
  8. It is your responsibility to ensure that your Ticket purchase contains the correct information. We are not responsible for correcting information which you have provided, however we will use all reasonable efforts to remedy errors where possible.
  9. UNLAWFUL RESALE OF TICKETS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. IF WE REASONABLY SUSPECT THAT TICKETS HAVE BEEN PURCHASED FOR UNLAWFUL RESALE, WE MAY CANCEL THE RELEVANT TICKETS WITHOUT ANY RIGHT TO COMPENSATION OR REFUND.

4. ADMISSION TO THE EVENT

  1. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission, and to request any Ticket Owner to leave the venue (including an on-line venue) at any time for reasons of public safety. This includes, but is not limited to: (i) crowd surfing and moshing; (ii) aggressive behaviour; (iii) acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs; (iv) carrying an offensive weapon; (v) failure to comply with any measures put in place to combat the spread of Covid-19, and/or (vi) any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury, or for any breach of the Event Partners´ terms and conditions. You will not be entitled to a refund.
  2. A Ticket Owner may be asked to leave an on-line event for failing to observe the acceptable use policy for the relevant Event.
  3. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse re-admission to any person not in possession of a Ticket or the retained portion of the Ticket.
  4. Latecomers may be admitted at a suitable point in the performance at the discretion of the Event Organiser.
  5. You acknowledge that there may be security checks at any venue.

5. EVENT CANCELLATION

  1. If an Event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify YOU of the cancellation once we have received the relevant authorisation from the Event Organiser, however we do not guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event.
  2. Unless indicated otherwise in relation to a particular Event, if an Event is cancelled, you will be offered seats at the rescheduled Event/s (subject to availability) up to the face value of the Tickets or, if you are unable to attend the rescheduled Event or the Event is not rescheduled, a refund of the ticket price.
  3. Refunds for Tickets purchased prior to the date of the original Event will be given up to their face value. If an Event takes place over several days and only one day is cancelled, you will be entitled to a pro-rata refund.
  4. IF THE EVENT IS RESCHEDULED, THE EVENT ORGANISER MAY SET REFUND LIMITATIONS.
  5. Ensure you check all "Event Specific Terms & Conditions" at the top of this page for refund policies.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO RECORDING

  1. You must not take any unauthorised audio, video, photographic or digital recording apparatus of any kind into any of the performance areas, nor make any audio, video or photographic recordings of any kind. The Event Organiser reserves the right to confiscate any unauthorised audio, video and photographic recordings.
  2. You consent to filming and sound recording as members of the audience (at a venue or on-line).

7. LIABILITY

  1. Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to an Event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk. Unless otherwise stated in this clause, our and the Event Organiser's liability to you in connection with the Event (including, but not limited to, in the event of cancellation, rescheduling or material change to the programme of the Event) shall be limited to the Ticket price paid by you.
  2. Subject to Section 7.3, neither we, Eventcube or the Event Organiser (Event Partners) will be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any person (including you) nor property howsoever caused.
  3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to exclude or limit our or the Event Partners' liability for death or personal injury caused by our or the event partner(s)' (as relevant) negligence, fraud or other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

  1. Force Majeure Event means any circumstance not within a party's reasonable control including, without limitation:
    1. acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster;
    2. epidemic or pandemic;
    3. terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, war, threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo, or breaking off of diplomatic relation;
    4. nuclear, chemical or biological contamination or sonic boom;
    5. any law or any action taken by a government or public authority, including without limitation imposing an export or import restriction, quota or prohibition, or failing to grant a necessary licence or consent;
    6. collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; and
    7. interruption or failure of utility service.
  2. If the Store Owner is prevented, hindered or delayed in or from performing any of its obligations under this agreement by a Force Majeure Event, it shall not be in breach of this agreement or otherwise liable for any such failure or delay in the performance of such obligations. The time for performance of such obligations shall be extended accordingly.

9. DATA PROTECTION

  1. If you book Tickets with us, we will hold your name, address and other personal data in our database, subject at all times to our Privacy Policy. If you wish to make any requests regarding your personal data, please email support.

10. GENERAL

  1. The Event Partners and their affiliates, successors, or assigns may enforce these terms in accordance with the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 (the Act).
  2. Except as provided above, these Terms and Conditions do not create any right enforceable by any person who is not a party to it under the Act, but does not affect any right or remedy that a third party has which exists or is available apart from that Act.
  3. These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation.
